Please refer to my Design Release Policy for detailed information.
If you would like to view your tattoo design before your appointment, discuss variations, and make alterations according to your preferences, I recommend booking a dedicated Design Session.
This session is separate from your tattoo appointment and allows time to explore your ideas in depth without impacting your tattoo day.
To protect the integrity of your artwork and reduce the stress of back-and-forth communication, I prefer to finalize your tattoo design during your appointment. Discussing the design in person allows for clearer communication—where I can explain my artistic vision and you can share your feedback directly. For appointments 2 hours or longer, I dedicate the first 30 minutes to design fine-tuning and stencil placement.
This approach creates a smoother, more efficient process for both of us. Email conversations can sometimes make it difficult to fully express or understand artistic decisions, and certain details are best handled face-to-face.
If you’d like to work on your design before booking your tattoo session, you have the option to book a dedicated design session. These sessions are billed at $50 per 30 minutes and can last up to 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing us to collaborate closely and refine your tattoo concept ahead of time.
By working together—whether in a design session or at your appointment—we ensure your tattoo truly reflects your vision with the clarity and care it deserves.
I am committed to ensuring you feel fully confident and satisfied with your tattoo design. To facilitate this, I offer several consultation and revision options designed to support clear communication and alignment throughout the process:
1. Free Phone or Zoom Consultation:
After you submit your tattoo form, you may request a complimentary 30-minute phone or Zoom consultation to discuss your ideas and clarify any questions.
2. In-Person Design Consultation:
For those who prefer a direct, face-to-face discussion, in-person consultations are available at the studio. These sessions carry a nominal fee ranging from $50 to $150, depending on the time allocated.
3. Design Revisions and Rescheduling:
Should you remain unsatisfied following the consultation or paid design session, you are entitled to one final revision and may reschedule your appointment without forfeiting your deposit. Please note that standard rescheduling policies will continue to apply, and I encourage you to review the cancellation policy for further details.
Tattooing is a deeply personal and artistic process. If, after utilizing these options, you feel that my artistic style or approach does not align with your vision, I respect that this may indicate I am not the ideal artist for your project. As a professional artist, my work is original and thoughtfully crafted, and may not replicate other designs exactly.
To maintain fairness and respect for both client and artist, I reserve the right to cancel an appointment or decline further revisions if reasonable revision options have been exhausted. Please understand that I will not dedicate more than one week of exclusive work time on a single client’s design to ensure timely progress for all clients.
Thank you for your understanding and for entrusting me with your tattoo journey.
Initial Review:
You will have the first 30 minutes of your appointment to review the design and request minor changes if needed.
Extensive Revisions:
If you want to completely rework the design (reposition of multiple elements, change the colour palette, change the size of many elements, see more options, versions, add more/other elements), a design fee will apply:
After the Initial 30 min, up to:
30 minutes: $50 Added
1 hour: $100 Added
1.5 hours: $150 Added
2 hours: $200 Added
Depending on the total time booked and my calendar, the tattoo itself may need to be rescheduled if extensive revisions exceed the allocated time. This won't impact the deposit, but the extra fees must be paid on the day of, or it will be deducted from the deposit accordingly.
Please remember: My time and my skill are my work. I ask for your collaboration and understanding in respecting the creative process.
When you choose me as your artist, I will never decline a request or appointment without careful, professional consideration. That said, I do have my areas of specialization, aesthetic sensibilities, and comfort zones regarding placement, composition, and specific elements.
To ensure we’re a good match, I encourage you to explore my extensive portfolio on Instagram and review my FAQ page, where you can learn more about my style, ethics, and creative approach. Transparency and artistic alignment are essential to creating a meaningful tattoo experience.
If I come to realize that our visions are not fully compatible, I may kindly recommend cancelling the session and, whenever possible, refer you to another artist whose style may better suit your needs. This ensures you receive the best possible result, while I remain true to my craft. In this instance, any deposits will be refunded minus design consultation fees.
Undecided After 2 Hours:
If you are unable to decide on the final design within 2 hours, your appointment will be rescheduled, and a new booking will need to be made once you’ve finalized your decision.
I encourage you to reflect on the level of control you feel you need over the design process.
As a professional tattooer and multimedia artist, I bring years of expertise and a creative vision to guide us toward a cohesive, high-quality design. While I value your input and will always aim to align the design with your preferences, there may be moments when I advise against certain ideas to ensure the final piece is harmonious and technically sound.
If, after discussion, you wish to proceed with your direction against my advice, I may agree to execute the design at your discretion. However, please understand that in these cases, I cannot guarantee the outcome will reflect the style or quality typically associated with my portfolio and finished work.
This policy is in place to foster mutual trust and ensure that we achieve a tattoo that meets both your expectations and my artistic standards. Let’s collaborate to create something truly exceptional!
Every tattoo I create is uniquely tailored to you. To preserve the integrity of the design, I finalize and present it during your appointment, blending your input with my artistic expertise.
Please note that copies of the tattoo design are not provided. If you are interested in purchasing artwork inspired by or based on your tattoo, please review my commissioned artwork options and pricing at https://www.florafiora.shop/comissions.
To maintain the exclusivity and originality of each tattoo, all artwork remains confidential until your appointment day. This practice protects both the artist’s intellectual property and the integrity of the creative process. By safeguarding designs from early disclosure, we ensure that the artwork remains unique and is not copied, replicated, or shared without proper consent.
Protecting the artist’s intellectual property means respecting the time, skill, and creative vision invested in developing each custom piece. Tattoo art is not just a service — it is an original work born from years of experience, artistic study, and personal expression. Prematurely sharing or distributing designs can undermine this process, devalue the art, and potentially expose the design to unauthorized use.
Maintaining confidentiality also benefits you, the client, by preserving the special experience of receiving a one-of-a-kind tattoo that reflects your personal story and my professional craftsmanship. It prevents any outside influence or premature expectations that might alter the meaning or impact of the piece.
In short, this commitment to confidentiality and exclusivity honours the respect due to art as a unique, living creation and ensures that your tattoo remains a personal, authentic work of art.
If you would like to receive a digital copy of your tattoo design, including the stencil, and have more involvement in the design process, I recommend booking a paid design session. This allows us to collaborate closely, discuss your preferences in detail, and ensure the final artwork perfectly aligns with your vision.
Exceptions to this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the artist’s discretion.
